As usual, I get the worst alien babies! This one looks downright mean. Little Sirius is approaching childhood, and if he's gonna make any friends at the playground, I'm gonna have to do something about that jawline! - Seriously, we're talking a baby Voldemort here!

So, my question is.. How do I tamper with my Sims' DNA? I wanna make sure he can send his .. uh .. seed out in the world, without the chance of more baby Voldemorts.

Thanks for looking!

Yes, if you use the default PT the babies are going to look awful... In the future you might want to try out PT replacements, they are many available here at MTS. There is also PT sets to give more variety to your alien spawn.

You can change your existing sims look with SimPE (sim surgery-option) but you'll need to have better looking sim created so you can use to make your alien look better. That way you change their genetics entirely. If you want just to change his appearence in the game but decide not to make him have kids of his own, you can use sim surgery from Sim Blender or InSimenator-hacks.

I hope this was atleast little helpful to you :) I'm sure someone can tell you exactly what to do with SimPE, step by step. I haven't done myself sim surgery through SimPE, but I know the basics of that anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it's just a facial feature (Nose, shape of face, etc) and if you have the University expansion pack you could get that plastic surgery kit and use that?

It may be easier than having to edit it in Sim PE.
But up to you. :)

I guess I'm swimming upstream on this one, but I kind of like the fugly sims. I like to see how many generations it takes to get a decent looking one.

As to my knowledge, if you edit sims facial features in-game (with hacks or with UNI's plastic surgery machine) you cannot change their genetics. If you want just a better looking sim, who's not going to have children then it's fine. But if you want future kids to have better genetics, SimPE is required. I tested it today myself. Of course it's up to player, what ever they want from their game. :)

Thanks for the feedback! I was aware that I could give him some plastic surgery, but I sorta wanna make him a happy father :P So, I'll test SimPE.

Thanks for all the help ^_^

I would have thought it's a slight contradiction in terms to make alien babies "pretty" anyway. :D

Apologies to any aliens out there if I'm being... err.. "alienist".

I found this guide on how to do it with SimPE. It's really pretty straightforward once you get into SimPE. I've done it a few times. :)

Just make sure to do the Sim Surgery with SimPE first.
