The following was posted in the 'New Transfigurifications' thread; possibly this is the only way to get it.
This supernovium recipe has repeatedly produced Woohooium from the display case:
Top row: Platinum with Mercury vial stacked on it, Mercury, Palladium, Silver
Bottom row: Platinum, Mercury, Iridium, Silver

Woohooium can be found while sculpting. Sometimes when your Sims sculpt, the block can smash and if you are lucky you may find a Woohooium ore or a Flourite Palmstone gem.

But does it have magical properties?

Apparently if you have an ingot of it next to the bed when you woohoo, something interesting happens.
Haven't seen it myself though, have yet to find any :)

It puts out hearts when your sim wohoos if it's by the bed. I think you have to get it smelted first thou. I found it at the consignment store.

Woohooium? Lol, that makes me think of a sexually enhanced valium of some sort, or viagra even.

^ that's exactly what I thought.
and yeah, I also got mine at the consignment store... for some reason it never occurred to me to try it while my sims where woohoo-ing.

I put it next to the bed and had my sims woohoo, didn't notice anything extremely different except the Woohooium had like a red misty aura with floating hearts around it while they were woohooing.

Ok what you do is you start sculpting with stone. Once you do by chance get woohooium you have to smelt it for it to work. Then it looks like a block of gold only red with a heart on it. What it does is when you place it by the bedside of a double bed it makes it impossible for someone to resist woo-hoo with ur sim no matter their needs. I have 2 blocks and trust me it makes my house very fertile.

why doesn't it tell you this in the guide?

why doesn't it tell you this in the guide?
Because they we're afraid of what people might think when the look at the guide and see "Woohooium, makes your sims a bunch of hormonus rabbits in a closed cell."

ToRnado, Prima guides are notoriously incomplete, and for the information that's there, it's often erroneous. Partly because they're written months before the game is complete, and partly because they're badly proofread and edited :p They used to be better, but the quality has really been going down.
And, as is probably the case here, they like to preserve some surprises.
Pretty much any info you get from a guide should be independently corroborated before you believe it.

Yeah I wondered myself what effects it would cause after reading the description on it. Will try to test it sometime soon lol
I found 3 while trying to sculpt stone. Which is cool but for whatever reason when I try to sculpt stone now every single time it crumbles and leaves me with a stone of some kind. I'm trying to make sculptures. But this has happened like 7 times now.

try digging in the trash you never know what you might find ;)

The real question is how this stuff gets in the trash to begin with, given that an insane sim can search his OWN trash and find this stuff.

Ha, I just found a chunk of this while digging in the trash. Typical Sims; I'm looking for a pink diamond and I find this instead. :p

This supernovium recipe has repeatedly produced Woohooium from the display case:
Top row: Platinum with Mercury vial stacked on it, Mercury, Palladium, Silver
Bottom row: Platinum, Mercury, Iridium, SilverAccording to a source crawl, there is no such recipe. Creating a stack of multiple different metal types will either yield Supernovium or Compendium. Only a pure woohooium transmutation will produce more of it, no alloy transmutation does so. The only change to metal transmogrification was the addition of a value cap to prevent the bar from blowing out int32, without actually fixing the exploit which caused it in the first place.

I found Woohooium while my Sim was trying to make a sculpture from stone and I had it smelted...I had two pieces and put a piece on each bedside table in my flirty Sim's bedroom, then I invited her boyfriend over and all the Woohooium did was glow:

Sort of cute I guess but not very interesting.

You will have to try the recipe to see if it really works... I was actually the one who stumbled upon the recipe and my friend posted it after I had tried it out dozens of times it gives you a stack of ingots; granted it is not a pure transmutation and the cap value doesn't matter if just trying to make up recipes to come up with diff. metals for the fun of it or even for profit in some cases but not much.. just 1 ingot on top of the upper left corner ingot will give you a stack of 2 or more depending on what is put on the other shelves... yes 2-4 diff. kinds will give you Compendium on the bottom and 5+ will give you Supernovium but if you add 1 ingot it will add something else with that initial transfigured ingot.
I have gotten this same outcome repeatedly and have seen it done on another computer, several diff. families, and time frames. These pictures where just taken and I did not have AM (Thank You J. M. Pescado) installed even though I do use AM I wanted to try it without to see if others could do it if not using it... will have to try again once I put AM back in..
Enjoy your discoveries.. I do!!

This recipe worked for me. I got 3 bars one of which was woohooium. Though I must say I wasn't very impressed with the result. All it did was glow and pulse with red hearts. I missed it the first time, had to be up close to see it. :(

hey peoples. this is an old tread but i am trying this recipe to get wooooium.
BUT i only get supernovium. I try to reset with loading my save every time, just before i click on the display.
But would that give a now result or do i have to try more times in the same "game" and not exit every time ?

There is no recipe that will produce Woohooium. You can get a random metal as a byproduct if you transmute with stacked bars, resulting in overflow that will spit out other bars. But there's no "woohooium" recipe, it's a random byproduct of transmutation on stacks.

I had never heard of Woohooium until my sim fished it up from a pond in China.

Well at the very least it's nice to know what I'm doing wrong with it. I thought it might have an effect if a sim had it in their inventory when they woohoo, but no difference. I get more effect from the Lifetime rewards than that.
Next time I'm in the game I'll try laying out a couple of ingots on the side tables of whichever couple I have in play (I am currently playing three families, across three towns).

Is Woohooium actually supposed to 'do' anything, or is it just there for amusement? I've never come across it in game, so I don't have a clue. If it does have an effect, perhaps it's cumulative, and you need a stack of it to notice anything?
