okay, so, i've recently decided to try meshing, and in the beginners tutorial, it called for a file in the savedsims folder... and there weren't any files there! i even tried it with several articles of clothes of different ages... still no dice.

part of me thinks it has something to do with the way i cleaned out the files in the folder. i'd had... a few failed projects before (and by a few, i mean a lot) so i manually deleted the files from savedsims folder. could that have screwed it up? or is there something else going on?

i would really appreciate any help! :turtle:

Deleting all files from Saved Sims would tend to make Saved Sims empty, yes. :D
Thomas Edison had quite a few failed projects, but he turned out all right, so keep at it. ;)

When you create a BodyShop project, you need to remember to do "import to game".
If you don't do that, you will not have a finished project in Saved Sims.

edit:
To clean out old projects, you need to load a project in BodyShop and delete it in BodyShop. That will nuke the project folder and file in Projects. Those BodyShop images are disk space hogs. If you imported the project into the game, you should also manually delete the final result in Saved Sims. Just remember that deleting stuff from saved sims won't clean up all project files by itself. You may already know this, but thought I would point it out just in case.
