I have made a non-core script mod that allows you to add extra lot sizes to the panel of empty lots. This is a feature that was available with Ambitions and the corresponding basegame patch.
I have included some extra lot sizes with it, but you can configure your own if you are able to edit the tuning xml resource in the package - there are plenty of tutorials for doing so.

I have made glass flooring (in the rug section of your catalog). It is self-ceilinged so you can see it from the room below, and it lets daylight in like windows. http://dino.drealm.info/den/denforum/index.php?topic=353.0

This isn't exactly simlogical, but I just started a Facebook group where people can post their own content update ads and read about other people's. I guess it could be like MS3B but without having to wait for them to update ;) http://www.facebook.com/groups/458520484177460/ I think you can read it without having to join the group but you do have to have a facebook account.

Doors with filter by sim types (pets, npcs, agegroup, gender etc). Filter combinations driven by menu. New objects based on EA meshes, does not override anything.

Are your Werewolves tired of hunting so much? Do your Vampires need a change from Plasma Juice, Plasma Juice, More Plasma Juice, and the occasional Plasma Fruit? Give your supernaturals (or even your particularly blood thirsty mortals) a change of pace with these nutritious raw meats.

There's no reason to rely on dodgy moodlets to be informed about your sim's temperature. With this mod installed, you will be able to click on any sim and instantly get a report detailing the temperature of all sims in the target sim's household.

Big list of new mods, recently:
Extra Credit Homework (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php?topic=1680.0) - If your sim's kids are stuck bored at home all day due to snow days, sick days, or even holidays, give them something productive to do! With this mod, your sim kids can make up on missed school time by doing extra credit homework when they're not in school. This mod adds a "Do Extra Credit Homework" interaction to all computers (including laptops) and MultiTabs in your game.
Store Dried Food (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php?topic=1673.0) - This mod adds a set of interactions to all treasure chests that will allow you to easily move custom edible food (dried food) to and from chests.
No Unfinished Room moodlet (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php?topic=1663.0) - This mod effectively removes the unfinished room moodlet. Under EA tuning, if a room has 0.2% missing wall or floor covering, the sim will have the unfinished room moodlet. With this mod, the room must have 99% missing wall or floor covering for the sim to receive the moodlet.
Buyable Bunch o' Gifts (Gift Pile) (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php?topic=1560.0) - This mod unlocks the Bunch o' Gifts (aka Gift Pile) in buy mode, so your sims can buy their own Gift Pile for their family without having to throw a party.
Gift Pile Tweaks (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php?topic=1564.0) - This is a set of mods that you can combine to tweak the Gift Pile. You can mix and match these mods anyway you like, and they are all compatible with my Buyable Bunch o' Gifts mod.

Sims' life is too peaceful without any disturbances. Why not give your sim an evil time-bomb which can be even given to another sim when activated?
Description (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php/topic,1767.0.html)
Yes, this is a timed bomb with teddy bear appearance. Though it's in Kids->Toy ( you can find it there), it doesn't have any toy interaction to keep your kid safe. After activating the bomb, please run away from it, no matter it's on the floor or in another sim's inventory because it hurts.
Four Available Interactions (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php/topic,1767.0.html)
1. Give to (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php/topic,1767.0.html)
Only available when you pick it up and it's in your inventory. Please be careful if you try to give activated bomb to another sim because your sim needs to route to the target sim! Don't make the time so short and let the bomb explode in the meantime!
2. Set Time (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php/topic,1767.0.html)
It's very important because only after your set proper time (please input valid number) can you activate it. Note: it's in sim-minute time
3. Activate (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php/topic,1767.0.html)
It's dangerous. As long as you click it, you bomb will explode in given time.
4. Pick up (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php/topic,1767.0.html)
Your sim will route to the bomb and put it in his/her inventory.

Do you remember the Xtreme career (http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Xtreme) from the very first The Sims? I do, and I'm proud to present this conversion of the career to The Sims 3. It's basically the same career but wages, skills and more have been adjusted to fit the new series.

Package Viewer is available at Simlogical now. Hit It (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/index.php/topic,1953.msg12341.html#msg12341)
Though there're several tools can do this job, I assure you it's the simplest.
It has five main features:
1. Detecting the type of packages
2. Thumbnail Support
3. Package Status Support
4. Packages Outside CC Folder Support
5. Corrupted Package Detection Support

What he's trying to say is you can quickly list your packages, see what's in them because it tells you and shows you the thumbnails, and then quickly click to disable or delete any you don't want. No bells or whistles.
