What I find so "Amazing" about the Sims is how in a matter of days or hours they can become an accomplished "Concert Pianist" it is so funny to me I myself play the violin.

It took years for me to study and practice and play the violin to earn the title of being a "Violinist" so that I can now play with an orchestra of some standard or quality.

The Sims parents will just stand there and watch them and clap their hands or give them a tip in the jar. My parents would scream if I miss one note, my teachers ( I hated ) they would sometime move my fingers around on the violin strings saying to me NO! Give me an E sharp not an E flat. :blink: The Sims have it "Easy As Pie" that what so amazing. :)

It's amazing how the watering can NEVER needs refilling!
It's amazing how just talking to plants helps them to grow - no water required once a sim has that skill (although to be fair I still make them water their plants)

Sorry :blink: I do not understand what you are saying here above in your statement. A sims "Can Leave Their Lot" to visit another sims, go shopping, dates, go to work, school, out to eat or places to have fun at like rolling skating. If you have the Eps for it they can leave and do all these things. :)

I know with certainty that they have blue vomit because I learned that when a pregnant sim didn't have any toilets in her house.

For clarity, I wasn't just being mean when I removed the toilets. However, I discovered that it's easier for me if sims don't have a toilet to run to when they are pregnant. It never fails that the pregnant sims will give birth in the corner of a bathroom. No matter how large I would make the bathroom, they would go in the corner to give birth which made it difficult to take pictures of their pain and anguish. Hehehe.

I also don't like trying to get pictures of the parents with the baby in a tiny bathroom.

So, one day, being somewhat lazy after moving a sim to a new house on the very day she was supposed to give birth. I never got around to taking the toilet out of their inventory. So, she had a final puke outside in the front of the house. Very blue puke, like water. But the environment score didn't drop and there was no nasty toilet to clean. I hate it when I can't get the garden planted because they have to run off to puke. Without toilets on the lot, they just puke on the ground close to where they are.

From that moment on, my pregnant sims don't get toilets. They just continue to garden, run their businesses, clean and whatever I want them to do until the moment they give birth out in the open yard by the pond where I can take pictures. Although, if I remember to stock up on oranges from the produce store, the orange juice keeps them from having bad morning sickness during pregnancy.

It is also "Amazing" how a Romance Sims can mess around with every two leggy female in the whole neighborhood and never get a disease. It's "Amazing how all a Sims have to do is read a book about cooking and now he or she is an experienced Culinary Chief without really cooking.

Several times I have moved a sim or sims into a house I just built on a fresh lot, and some townie will come by and knock over the trash can, spilling refuse everywhere. Please note that this is before the residents have even used the bloody thing!

So, somewhere in the Sim world, is a factory that makes garbage cans, and pays someone to fill them with garbage prior to shipping.

Probably the same factory that ships the refrigerators full of food.

I also noted that when you intersect a wall with a dresser, you get an "x-ray" effect. Lo and behold, the dressers are full of clothing, just like the closets.

Makes you kind of wonder why cribs don't come with babies.

That reminded me of something that happened loooooong ago...

I had just installed the "unleashed" expansion for the original game and had some matter that needed attention. Rather than exit the game, I let it run in the background because of the incredibly long load times back then.

I returned to the game after perhaps 30 minutes of real time had passed to a scene that definitely caused a "WTF?!" reaction...Claire Charming's house was completely filled with garbage, the kitchen and dining area were a charred wreck, her poor dog Luna was nearly dead from hunger, exhaustion and lack of hygiene, and Claire herself was passed out on the front lawn, in her pajamas, lying in a puddle of her own pee. Her motives were all in the red as well.

Needless to say, I made it a point to never leave my "Simbeciles" alone for more than a few minutes. :rofl:

I must have gotten smarter Sims in my package. They don't harass the baby constantly, they actually tend to their needs...but I still don't trust them.

And I have very few mods in place...just SimPE, SimBlender, and the breastfeeding mod plus enhancement (feed 'em faster).

AlexandraSpears (about the clean houses): I know! My current family has a very spacious and VERY clean house. There's nothing on the floor at all besides furniture.
The two kids are twins and even when they were both toddlers there was only the occasional toy. Nothing knocked over or clutter on the floor.

Isn't it amazing how sims pee and poo through their clothes while on the toilet? Not to mention, kinda gross (although it would be gross if they took them off as well, so it's a lose-lose situation).

Isn't it amazing how a gardener can turn up, not get out of the car and then announce "you're plants are in wonderful condition, they don't need any attention from me today", without even looking round the back of the house just to double-check.
