The first problem i was having with the pm is that it wouldn't show .package files like it wasn't compatible or something, now after trying to get the package files to show up, somehow it will not show anything else anymore. Maybe i did something that makes them not show up idk anymore.

What process did you filter for?

Is this for Sims 3 or 2?

this is for sims 3.
Also, when you delete the pm, how do you delete everything about pm from the pc? I deleted it and downloaded another one, but it still has all the options in it saved. I need to reset everything like i never used it before so maybe i can undo my mistake that may have caused it to never show anything regarding the sims 3 anymore.

Do you mean the filters? There's a Reset Filter option in the Filter menu.

And deleting the folder containing the ProcMon files would remove the program from the PC, as essentially it is a portable sorta app.

I reset the filters and everything, but i have no clue where on the pc it saves the settings. Pm is ruined for me until i know where on the pc it holds the settings.

What settings did you change that got retained, even with the folder gone?
I could try and test if you show me ... ?

I don't know what i did i was just clicking around in options or something, not remembering anything i did and somehow all sims 3 related files won't show up anymore and the program is un-resettable because no matter how many times i delete the program and anything "procmon" related stuff on my pc the filters i saved are still there somehow. So somewhere on my pc the settings must be saved, but i just don't know where. I also don't know how to show you. Maybe you could try what i did. I'm sure you use pm too and have saved some filters, just delete it if you want and the folder and stuff and it still should have everything you did in it when you re-download pm.

Reset Filters don't work? It always worked for me.
In order to see Sims 3 related files, the game must be running of course. ;) Was it?

The filters themselves can be removed from within ProcMon under the Filters menu -> Organized Filters; and/or from Windows Explorer, search for *.pmf and remove the files with the Filter names that you saved/imported.
My Filters are saved separately from my ProcMon folder containing the program and things are gone and reset properly when I removed the filters or reset it via the Reset Filter menu.

Have you run a registry cleaner utility like CCleaner? I doubt things are left behind as I believed ProcMon is a self-contained app, but it does not hurt to verify.
Due to this self-contained nature, it would not remove the *.pmf files by itself, when you remove the ProcessMonitor folder, unless you removed the the filters' .pmf files yourself.
