So, I decided to make a firefighter sim but on the very first job he got he can't enter the house. The problem appears to be that whenever he is on the lot where there is fire the fire disappears. The lot is funnily enough besides the fire station so he just ran there but once on the lot he just stands around looking goofy. If I try to order him to get into the house he can't do that, and the only two doors that allow access inside cannot be cut down with the axe.
If I make him go back to the fire station I can see inside the house where it's burning as well, so I have no idea what is going on since that vision disappears as soon as he enters the lot with fire :( I have read that Ambitions is very buggy, but I got the Town Life Stuff pack installed so I kind of assumed most of the issues associated with the firefighter career would be patched away.
I do have some mods installed but all of them are meant for CAS because the sim I am playing with is a project I am currently working on. The reason I am playing with him in game is because I of course need to know how he looks and acts like in game, seeing CAS is kind of limited when it comes to camera angles and animations. Anyway, that aside, even if I do remove mods the issue remains.
Am I just missing something really silly like breaking in a window or is there something else I can do to solve the issue?

Ok, it was a really silly issue with a really silly solution although I think is a game bug. The problem was that the house was near the fire station so he walked to the lot instead of taking the firefighter truck with him even though I ordered him to take the truck when I tried the "leave the lot and reenter" solution :/. I kind of gave up and sent him home and then sent him back to the lot with the fire on it and now it worked fine as he took the stupid fire truck there instead of running >.<
So anyway, for those who think running is faster, you still need the bloody truck, grr!

Hahaha, so I just have to add the story of Cloud Strife's (yes, I am making Cloud :) ) life as a firefighter! First of all the whole issue of entering the house properly made the fire overrun the house so it takes forever for him to clean it out and it seems it actually spreads faster than he can clean it. Also, he arrived at the lot with almost zero bladder points which caused a very funny accident while at the job. So heroic of you Cloud! All in all, I horribly failed the first job I got, woo! Eventually I had to send him home to sleep or he would've fainted while at the job and that would've been.... bad.
