Okay, I've seriously been wondering for months on how to do multi-level basements. I've scoured Google for answers on how to do this, but failed to find anything. What I want is like level B1 and B2 to be merged together into one big one. I KNOW this is possible because the popular house builder on YouTube, Curtis Paradis, had done this.

Skip to 2:35 and watch 10 seconds of it, and you can see that he effortlessly removed an entire floor off B1 so B2 is visible, while still conserving B1's wall.

I tried to do this using the delete tool and simply deleting B1's floor, but that just removes that part of the room with nothing but blackness in that deleted area.

Please somebody, I've really been wondering as to how to do this...

I have been able to remove the floor like that, but usually when I don't want it. I know there is a few tricks out there, but what works for others doesn't work for me, and I think it has to do with different patches and expantions. I know there are other's here with more knowlegde then me about this.

Instead of using the sledgehammer, pick a floor tile and hold ctrl. This will remove the floor of the basement and allow you to make multi-level basements. :)

Do you mean use the sledgehammer and hold ctrl while clicking it? Because I also tried that and it doesn't work :(

Pick a floortile and hold down ctrl. I guess that's just removing tiles before you have placed any. Pretty sure I have tried that too, but you just go on try that.
