Ok, so my knight went back home and his mirror was gone and in it's place there is this weird disk on the floor and when I hover over it it says "Thanks for this Tacked Wall Mirror. I'll give it back... maybe." :wtf:
All I can think of is that some burglar stole it, but I've never seen or heard of any burglars before in this game, so I was wondering if this happened to any of you before? Maybe it's common and I'm just seeing it now, but I don't know... is it safe to delete it? In live mode there is nothing I can do with this disk and in furnish mode I can delete it but maybe I shouldn't... I'm just baffled. :wtf:

You are lucky. It's a rare game feature of low security kingdoms.

I didn't know that this feature was in the game :)
Now I wish I'd seen it happen... Do the burglars actually show? Or does it just happen when we're not looking?
I tried to find out something on the internet but there seems to be nothing... So I guess it really is rare and I am indeed lucky to have experienced it.
Oh, and my security level at the time was neutral, if someone was wondering.

i keep all my kingdom thingies at 12 because i got tired of my monarch getting mugged, and then having to murder their attacker. what constitutes neutral?

It was a new kindgom and you start with all aspects neutral, but I also max all my aspects as soon as I can. And from what I noticed there is no specific level for neutral status, I think it depends on how far you advanced the other aspects of your kingdom.

I bunced all my aspect levels up to a comfy five, leaving me something to work for to get them each maxed. But then I noticed all the town walls had vanished, nowhere to be seen or a way to retrieve them without going back to an old save file. Gone, but not forgotten. Maybe that rare theif of yours came along and snaffled the walls away while the town slept. Best to go search the perimeters to see if he left a note, ha, ha. I next tried Shimrod's "brown walls mod" hoping it might kick start the walls back into a visible state. No luck. So now I have convinced myself that the Magician Hero came up with a spell to make the walls invisible, so as not to spoil the townsfolk's veiw of the beautiful sweeping valleys beyond. Yeah, right...

Weird, I never had a city wall disappear on me... Maybe it's just a glitch, I have this stupid lamp in the throne room that is invisible, but it's definitely there, because it still shines and I can't place a new one in the same place. It pisses me off so much...

I cannot say for certain, but recently I used the cheat code to hide all shell walls. I was building some pretty stuff in the palace forecourt - (which by default we're not allowed to do.) - Statues, fountains etc, etc. Making sure nothing clipped the outer walls of the palace. When I entered the code to return the shell walls to a cut away state again, that's when I spotted a lot of other seemingly unconnected things decided to be invisible thereafter. Hair, funiture, even whole sims. Zing, they all wanted to be cut away, too. Join the party! The vanashing city wall problem I had was way before I did any of this, and I really don't know what any of this means. But it seems making things vanish in the Sims Medieval is not such a hard thing to accomplish. If only I knew how to recreate the same trickery when my real-life landlord comes to collect the rent. Hmmm...

That is awesome! I know that the game always warns you about burglars when your security is too low, but I thought they had left it out of the game. I'll definitely start playing more at low security from now on.

I got robbed again... LOL
This time it was my blacksmith. They stole his glove. When I hover over the disk it says "The Thieves Guild of Fangorn appreciates its new Iron Fist's Leather Glove". Fangorn is my Kingdom's name.

That was great... LOL
I meant it in a good way even though getting robbed was a bad thing. I want that to happen in my next kingdom for some of the ambitions, good thing I only fool around on my Eternal one. I'll always choose to lower the Security at a gain of something else.
And when that thieves' mark appeared, I'd treat it as a trophy... LOL
