I spent the last days putting all missing types of commercial lots into this version (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=425868) of Twinbrook and I'm now at the point where I want to release it. There is only one problem that I can't get rid of: the strange acting fog.
It appears instantly (with 100% opacity) at a certain height and then fades out on a small range. This gif might gif you an idea (pun intended) of how it works:

It's the same in the "edit in game" mode as well as in the game itself after exporting. What I tried to do is taking the original ini files for the weather, adding the default fog parameters posted here (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?p=3836921#post3836921) and applying them to my custom map as explained here (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=388731).
Doing that only changed it's color, everything else is still the same as when I started working on this project. Am I missing something?
I am sincerely sorry if this has been asked before. I searched for "fog" but as far as I can see, all posts are about the fog emitters in the swamp section of Twinbrook or fog-related water problems.
