I'm probably posting in the wrong place but, in one of Showtime's screenshots, I found this. What is she holding in her hands?

I think it's a Sim with the Social Butterfly trait. When I tried it in CAS this messager was one of the things they pulled out of nowhere for a trait specific animation. So, it may be just like the eggplant for Vegetarians, which doesn't exist in game either.

Doesn't match any of the poses. I think it's an Acrobat sim, not a breakdancer.

I didn't read the original post carefully enough and hadn't realized it was a picture from EA. I did not even mean to imply that EA uses cc, let alone "insist" on it. Sorry, I made a mistake. Next time I'll be more careful. :) (That, and avoid posting at midnight when I can barely think straight. :faceslap:)

It looks like the dance mat you can get with showtime or late night can't remember, saw it one when scanning through the buy mode, never tried it out tho so could be acrobat.

It's a decorative rug used while an acrobat is doing god knows what. It's staging.

^And the image is promotional material. It's also implied in the first post. EA screenshots tend to have certain look and feel to them.

Where is it implied? And how much psychic ability do we need to have in order to divine that? All I see is that the OP said the screenshot is from Showtime.

Any other idea what that thing is? And I remember I found this screenshot in Simsvip.com but I can't find it there anymore.

I agree that it looks like it's just the idle animation for social butterflies. In Showtime there's also an mp3 player, but I think it's not recolorable and originally blue. And I don't recall them actually HOLDING it.
