Strange music playing on active lot

So I set my game to play and left for a moment and now there is this music playing on my lot. My sims do not have any stereos or TVs. and they aren't playing any instruments. It sounds like some sort of adventury suspense type music but I have no idea what it is. I know that when there is a haunting on the lot that has goofy music and a fire has goofy music but I have no idea what this is. Maybe for when there is a PI? Any Ideas on identifying this music? If I can figure out how to record it I will. It would be nice to get a popup for something like this so I know what it is. Cause there are a lot of sounds in the game that I have No idea what they are.

Edit Note: It isn't the lot, this music is following a Sim. any Ideas what it is? And how to turn it off.

I did figure out finally how to turn the music off. But i would really like to know what this music IS in the first place. Still looking for any ideas.

What kind of music is this? Is it a short jingle that goes like "diddledi diddledi dip" and sometimes followed by a flourish?

I suspect it's the jingle for a Sim entering a profession, either Showtime or Ambitions. I get these now on an almost daily basis at night, too, and usually means that the game took another townie or homeless Sim and made them a performer of some kind. And if it's followed by a flourish that Sim got promoted, too.

Do you have Nraas' StoryProgression?
Then it is most likely the spooky music that plays in haunted houses: SP makes professional stuff happen in the neighborhood for NPCs, and that includes hunted houses for ghostbusters.

If you listen to the thread linked, and it is the same music, that's the sound for when a Ghost Hunter gets their job. Which is different from the music that plays when an inactive Ghost Hunter has a Spirit Invasion job in the house next to yours.

Once a time while I was playing my favorite sims family, suddenly there's French accordion music playing all day long. My sims (in active lot) didn't turn on the stereo at all. Then who's playing the music? The neighbor did ;) Apparently the neighbor likes French music as her favorite music station. Her accordion music blasted loudly makes it heard in my sims in active lot house. To make it stop I changed to the neighbor playing that music as active lot to turn the stereo off.
