Ghosts always run away! [SOLVED]

I sent my Sim on the Sunset Valley graveyard at night. When the ghost came out, I clicked on him and selected "Friendly Introduction". The ghost just faded away. Is that normal - do you need to be in a family relationship with a ghost or the game is just being an a-hole?

It is possible to talk to ghosts you have never met, but sometimes the ghosts just don't want to talk. (Especially if it's too late in the evening. They like to vanish before sunrise.)

If this happens every night, with multiple sims, you might need to go through the game problem FAQ, but otherwise it's likely that it was just the game.

Yeah, it turns out it is just the game. Just the other day I went talking to gramps who died of old age. He was friendly. :)
