No problems, just an inquiry. Move the topic if it needs to go, I just didn't know where else to put it.

I have the base game, it is v. 1.0, and I do NOT want to sit through hours of updates to get to the latest version. Been there, done that, and never wanna experience that kind of pain again. However, I want Twallan's Story Progression Mod and the only versions I see are for the latest v. of TS3 and v. 1.29 on his site... I don't want to go anywhere else to get them, so I suppose I have the option of two places to stop updating the game.

Enough beating around the bush. Long question short, I just want to know if I were to go on the EA update archive and update it from v. 1.0 to, say, v. 1.29, could I just skip every previous update inbetween? I don't want to sit around waiting for all umpteen million of the to download, but I also don't want to screw up my game... Any and all help would be very appreciated, and I thank you! <:)

Well, nvm, Just realized EA doesn't HAVE an archive of anything, just a bunch of pointless information that I don't need about every update known to sims-3 kind. :/ Imma just suck it up and update everything, let it run while I sleep. thanks anyway!

Yes, you can, using our archive: Game Help:TS3 Patching/Archive

I didnt know there was an update archive here. So much easier than what I ended up doing.. -_- went through the launcher to get updated all the way to 1.33, and it's screwing with my in game graphics. I'm almost scared to play it now for fear of saving it during some horrible error in the graphics and corrupting the file or something.
