Spirits not appearing.

So on my old crappy computer which could barely run the Sims 3 I had no problems with the spirits for the ghost hunter job not showing up. On my new compy though for some reason they do not appear, they are still there as my sim will catch them if left on her own, but I cant see them and the graphic for the ghost gun does not show up either. I have fiddled with the graphics settings but nothing happens. Any thoughts?

Wait, wait nm. Its not just ghosts its also fire and basically anything like that graphically. -sigh- Going to uninstall everything and then put it all back....hopefully this does not go humpty dumpty on me.

Uninstalling and reinstalling won't change a thing; it's a graphical issue due to your graphic card. Check if your drivers are up to date.
OR you have an outdated No mosaic mod. If that's the case remove it.

You mean ghosts. You cannot see a spirit.

If you are in the Ghost Hunter career, you can see spirits. You just have to scan for them, and then they show up as humanoid blobs. Or they are supposed to. The OP is having trouble with that.

The blue and green thing in this picture are the spirits the OP is trying to see. There are other colors based on the type.

The ghosts the ghost Hunter scans for look like what you see normally coming out of the cemeteries.

Other than advice about checking his/her graphics card, I don't have much to add to the OP.
