Currently, I have The Sims 2: Double Deluxe and FreeTime for my game. Last week (after being able to play both expansions several times), my game just stopped loading past the launcher. I can double-click the icon and the launcher will come up and then I can hit play, but then nothing happens. When I open Task Manager it does not report that the game is running.
I removed all of my custom content and when through the Game Help FAQ step by step, but nothing seemed to help. I ended up reinstalling my game; I did Double Deluxe last night and went ahead without installing FT. It ran just fine, even with the custom content folder in it. Today, I installed FT and now the game has the same problem: it won't load past the launcher. I have checked for patches, removed all custom content, and gone through the Game Help FAQ again, but nothing is working.
I believe I've covered everything! If you have any questions, please ask. My specs are listed below!
