Hello everyone! I know this is a question that has been asked like a million times before, but I think my case is a little different. I am trying to install some awesome houses from a site, and it says
My Happy Birth day Gift 2011
Requires : Sims 2 EP to apartment
So I got all expansions up to Apartment.
I tried again, I still got the " this content requires expansion pack data that is not installed " message!
I was only missing one ep, which is AFTER Apartment, but I decided to buy it anyway (Mansion and Garden).
So after doing all that I now have ALL eps. I still get this message!!!!!!!
How can this be possible since I own all eps and games forSims 2? :help:
It really annoys me so much!!!!!!
It makes no sense to me!
Thanks for your help... :faceslap:

Perhaps it requires the Store Edition?
Unfortunately, you can no longer download the Store Edition for free from EA; you'd have to purchase Fun with Pets to get the up-to-date Store Edition which is included with that collection pack.
How are you installing the CC? If you use the Clean Installer, you can remove the requirement for Stuff Packs (which may be what the game is complaining about...).

The Store Edition is a free EP which EA distributed to make the game work with items from the Sims Store. When they closed the store, they stopped sharing the Store Edition. Unfortunately, some items require the Store Edition to work. If you had a link to the item in question, I might be able to figure out whether it needs the Store Edition or not.
To use the Clean Installer, install it on your computer. You can find it through the auto-link on the phrase Clean Installer, or on my profile page.
When you double click on a Sims2Pack, the Clean Installer will show you all of the CC included in the Sims2Pack. Just click on Install to install into your game. Note that the Clean Installer just removes the flag which says that an EP or SP is required; it can't actually remove any real requirements for meshes and things.
