My sim's face is frozen in the same expression forever~! :o

I didn't notice this until today, but one of my sim's faces is stuck in the same expression. It's a pretty starnage one too, I wouldn't mind if it was a little bit more normal looking. Here he is;

Has anyone else had this problem? If you did, how did you fix it? I tried making him pose for the camera, but what would happen is it would change to a smile but then after i made him stop he would plop back to that... I'm not even going to touch the mirror or plastic surgery thing because I don't want to take the risk of getting his thumbnail changed to that.

Hi there. I've had the same problem myself. I don't know what causes it. However, I HAVE found that using the mirror (even if you're just changing the hairstyle or whatever temporarily) fixes it. It's really annoying, but yeah; use the mirror and things should be fine. As I've not been able to install University, I can't say if plastic surgery works too. Good luck!

Mine get frozen in that same face too! I make them go to sleep and when they wake up the face is back to normal.

In addition to JaliB's suggestion, I have also found that everytime I had my Sim cook/serve a meal, (not sure if it's restricted to any type) it would fix the frozen face and frozen arm glitches.
I have experienced 5 frozen faces and 3 frozen arms, all were fixed on this method as well.

I noticed that the face in the pic is caused by dancing. I've solved it by making them dance again.(Too many DLs make Change Apperance a looong interation)

OMG, Helper Monkey your avatar ROCKS (I gotta fever LOL). Back on topic I had the same thing happen I did the same thing that klady did and it fixed it.
