Husband and Teen Daughter won't get in cars!

I'm playing this family and they have 5 kids and 1 on the way. All the kids are able to go to school normally, but when the oldest turned into a teen, she stopped getting on the bus. I'd tell her to go to school, but the icon would just disappear before it even got to the left top corner of the screen, if you get what I mean. The husband went to work just fine at first, but I did notice that he would get promoted very rapidly, without the dialog popping up and telling me. I did use the boolprop testing cheat to max everyone's skills and for the husband's job. Could someone offer any suggestions?

I have read that using the testing cheat to do what you did causes your problem. Not sure if it is true or not. Have you tried deleteing them, exiting the lot and reentering it? If it doesn't help, might try moving them to another lot. These are the only two suggestions I have. Good luck!
