I am not sure why and don't really understand all the CEP stuff but I did go to ambertation and downloaded everything (no clue what the binary such and such etc was but I didn't want to miss anything)

I don't like to download new objects but I do download bedspreads, appliance colors and bathroom recolors. Or at least I try to. Sometimes it shows up perfectly but other times I get this glowy blue custom content item (even if the recolor wasn't blue). What I really don't understand is why 50% of the time it works and 50% it doesn't? Is it my graphics card or am I missing a file someplace?

Not a big deal just annoying. Thanks in advance if anyone knows why this would happen.

The glowing blue means you have a recolor of an object for which you don't have the mesh file. The mesh is the base file and you must have it for any recolors to display correctly.

Then who do glowing blue options sometimes (often) show up as one of the color options of a object, when all the other colors for that object work fine? I thought one object only needs one mesh.

Thats not true. The flashing blue objects has nothing to do with new object meshes, it has to do with re-colors. I can't remember what causes this.. but I think it has something to do with the EP.

kmercer1 is correct. You can fix blue flashing objects in sim pe. You don't have to delete them. When you install university, your objects will be flashing blue because they were not update in university. So you fix them right in sim pe to be update in university. :)

Wow! I never tried using SimPE before because it seemed a bit intimidating but it is great! Just went and did the university ready and am off to see if my blue glowys are fixed! Thanks!
