The Atheistic Sims Tattoo Pack

There are many religious tattoos out there. But what is there for the sim who does not believe You exist?
Nothing.
Until now, that is.

That's right! Now your little heathen sim can flaunt his free-thinking, modern ways to the rest of the town with this pack.
Do You exist? We're not sure and until your existence can be proven, there will always be sims who doubt that You actually sit at the mouse controlling the universe.

Athiesm 01: American Atheists-style symbol. The lower part of the symbol is broken or open ended. This refers to the incompleteness that is inherent in science. The incomplete vertical electron orbit forms the letter "A" which represents Atheism.

Athiesm 02: Nul Set / Empty Set symbol. God exists only as an empty concept. Combine with religious symbols if you're Anti-Religion as well.

Athiesm 03: Atheist Alliance International symbol. Resembles the @ symbol. ("at" being the first two letters of Atheist in 80 languages. Coincidence?)
Officially recognized as an "Emblems of Belief for Placement on Government Headstones and Markers for the US Dept. of Veteran Affairs." Yes, there ARE atheists in foxholes it would seem.

Athiesm 05: Infinity A. Not sure where this one came from. There are a lot of graphic designs based on it, so I included it. It looks spiffy.

Athiesm 09: Happy Human. "The Humanist movement’s 'happy human,' designed by Denis Barrington in 1965 for the International Humanist and Ethical Union. The little figure symbolized the humanist philosophy of people over religious dogma, and while popular with atheists, is not an explicitly atheist symbol." - symboldictionary.net

Athiesm 11: Triangle. I really don't know if this is in wide use, but I thought it looked cool, so I included it.

Athiesm 12: A/T A = negation of T = theism O = horizontal equality
This symbol is nicknamed A/T.
More than 80 official languages and many dialects use the letters A+T as the root letters of the word Atheist.

Atheism XX: I didn't realize how apparently important this symbol is to atheism. I included a stylized version (Atheism 12) originally, but now I have also included a BONUS regular version with 2 channels!

NOTE:
Out Campaign: I do not support this whole Scarlett Letter "A" that the Out Campaign is trying to drive forward as the international symbol of atheism. Its a reprehensible thing with a dark and shameful past and to connect it with free thinking and humanism is an affront to the community. At least, this is what I think. Here is why:
Adultery in a bad thing.
Atheism is a good thing.
Adulterers should rightly feel bad and repent.
Atheists are urged to feel good and rebel.
Adultery is destructive to trust, the family and society.
Atheism is constructive to society, understanding and tolerance.
Adultery is conducive to shame.
Atheism is conducive to pride.


Don't think you need to install all of these tattoos. No, sir! Take what you want and throw the rest in your recycle bin. You can always come back for more later if you're still hungry.

Install Instructions

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Files^wiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).


Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
