Cat is pleased to present a new - bright and cheery - updated look for
95 Woodland Drive, Pleasantview.

What was once a drab, boring, 'modern' with a leaky roof is now a vivacious, attention-grabbing, home ~ one perfectly suited to a young family with one child (probably a daughter would be best!) Cat actually designed this house with her friends "The Davids" in mind. David (the first) is studying to be a Chef, and David (the second) is an artist. They recently adopted a beautiful little girl from SimChina.

Your Sim friends will love coming home after work or school - to just hang out. And, of course, stay for a scrumptious dinner... Lobster, anyone?

While Cat was inside rerouting the bathroom plumbing, David was outside building his new little girl's dreamhouse. The pagoda style roof is a nod to her homeland; and inside, a collection of teddy bears and toys eagerly await tea to be served.

Modifications to this house include adding a driveway and carport, and the playhouse, landscaping (lazy Maxis, ) moving and enlarging the kitchen area - making it a gourmet kitchen, designating a separate dining area, and reworking the 2-bedroom/1-bathroom configuration, basically, freeing up another living area to function as a Family Room.

Please see the attached photos for more views of the interior and outside - including the new roof (That was a real PITA to get right! I know why Maxis left it the way it was *yeesh!*) And there is a N'hood shot up there too, in case you want to know exactly which house this is.

If the colors are a bit 'much' for your Sim's taste, please feel free to redecorate as you see fit. The furniture in the living room IS a bit tight. You will probably have to direct your Sim step-by-step to get by the mid-sized 'Bakonmi' chair - or, you could just delete it... or use SilentLucidities marvelous Walk-Through Blocks. The phone is located on the wall between the family room and the kitchen. There is an invisible fire alarm behind the cooker's hood, and the burglar alarm is by the front door. The play-house has electricity, but no running water.

Necessary, and NOT included - GO get them:
Sophie-David's Invisible Driveway
Numenor's Unlevel Wall - #90 (only necessary if walls are missing - it means I used the unlevel wall instead of "CFE" while building. If walls are missing, exit without saving and add Numenor's Unlevel Wall to your DL folder before loading this house again)
And, I highly recommend:
Menaceman's Lunatech Lighting Fix

Also note: I used Mootilde's Lot Adjuster to move the house over by one tile and make room for the driveway.

Lot Size: 3x3
Lot Price: $71,677
