Do you find the EA career choices far too limiting for your Medieval Sims? I know I do -- which is why I'm making Medieval themed career mods!

This is a rabbit hole career, not an Active or Work from Home profession (although I would like to include those features in the future). Let's break the career down:

BLACKSMITH (Full-Time, Teen-Elder)
The Blacksmith's daily job is to forge various types of equipment from metals. From swords and shields, to horseshoes and chain mail, the Blacksmith is crucial to your Sim's kingdom.

LEVELS

Level 1 - Apprentice
Mine ore and stoke the bellows for the Blacksmith to do their job. Follow orders and try to stay out of the way.
Pay: §4/hr
Days per week: M-F
Shift: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Objectives: Reach Level 2 Handiness Skill, Collect 5 Elements

Level 2 - Toolmaker
Learn to craft shovels, hammers, nails, and other important building tools. If the farmer needs a rake, you can make one. If a house need to be built, the carpenters will come to you for hardware. You will be quite busy crafting by the smoldering forge day in and day out.
Pay: §9/hr
Days per week: M-F
Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Objectives: Reach Level 4 Handiness Skill, Craft an Object on the Woodworking Table

Level 3 - Weaponsmith
Longswords, daggers, maces, and a menagerie of weaponry are now in your crafting wheelhouse. You shape metal into deadly weapons used by soldiers and other wielders.
Pay: §12/hr
Days per week: M-F
Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Objectives: Reach Level 6 Handiness Skill

Level 4 - Armorsmith
When a jousting champion damages their armor, they come to you for repairs. As an Armorsmith, you design, shape, and finish customized wear for the kingdom's paying citizens. You can make chain mail, breastplates, helmets, and full suits of armor. Soldiers and more serious sportsfolk may come to you for shields made from the strongest of metals.
Pay: §16/hr
Days per week: M-F
Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Objectives: Reach Level 8 Handiness Skill

Level 5 - Master Blacksmith
With the elbow grease and sweat you have put into your forge, you've built the reputation and experience to be known as a Master Blacksmith. Your skills with shaping, riveting, and welding surpasses all others in the trade. Weapon repairs are a breeze and custom armory is no problem with your expertise.
Pay: §20/hr
Days per week: M-F
Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Objectives: Max Handiness Skill to Level 10, Repair or Upgrade an Object

**Much research went into this career to make it era appropriate. Descriptions, objectives, pay rates and shifts are meant to reflect historical accuracy.
