Yea I have the same problem, any ideas?

EDIT! I got it to work,

You cant have any people in the lot. Take out the people then add the mailbox/trash can

EDIT:
Need to be in Build mode!

I have problems putting the mailbox in as well. With ot without people in the lot.

I have all expansions - could it be that causing it to conflict? Has anyone tested it with Seasons?

I'm having issues with this, too.. also post Seasons. The mailbox and trashcan appear in the catalogue but cannot be placed, even in build mode. I have no residents on the lot; the lot, from the neighborhood screen, registers as residential.

Any ideas on what I'm missing?

Update:

I managed to get the trash can only to place from the community catalogue. However, the mailbox still will not place, neither from residential or community build mode collection file.

Same deal for me.
Mailbox cannot be placed in Residential or Community mode and neither in Buy or Build mode.
The trash can works only if in Community mode.

Maybe Freetime EP broke this hack?

I have AL and everytime I try to use this the game won't let me, and I tried accessing it in build mode. The trash bin works though.

I'm having the same problem as well. Like fleshapple, I got the trash can from the community catalogue but I can't get the mailbox! Has anyone solved this problem?

Thank you, it saves my life. I really needed it to change my zoning lot. Otherwise, I would have to rebuilt all the downloaded lot !
