This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Hi everyone. Tonight I bring you something that was requested by plasticbox, namely three Maxis modular stairs (Wooden, Steadfast and Chic) that are open underneath. Hope you like them. Enjoy!

Base game compatible, were tested with Basegame Starter Pro by Numenor.

!!! In order to make the stairs work in your game, you need to put the files 2008_CrocobauraChicModularStairs.txt; 2009_CrocobauraWoodenModularStairs.txt; 2010_CrocobauraSteadfastModularStairs.txt in your Scriptorium_ModularStairs folder if you're using the Scriptorium or you need to copy the text inside each at the bottom of the modularstairs.txt file from this path:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Catalog\Scripts

Polygon Counts:
Less than Maxis'

Additional Credits:
Maxis for the meshes and textures
Made with Wings3D, SimPE, UVMapper

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

These show up in my game perfectly, but for some reason will not show the recolors from the original numenor deck stair. Anyone else encounter this problem?

Hi, I'm not quite sure where to put these with the UC, since there is no EA Games folder since it was through Origin.
I was putting it in Fun With Pets/SP9 and all that... but it wasn't showing up in my game (yes, I have the packages in my downloads).
Any ideas?

Hi! I know it's a really long time since someone posted in this tread, but I need to try at least I triend to copy the text to the scripts folder, but it wont allow me to save. I try to save, it asks me if I want to replace, I said yes and then my damned computer tells me "access denied". Why would it do that to me?

I've been trying to figure this out. I have since added the The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection to my PC and has been playing. But I've noticed that things aren't working accordingly and I hope to get some help from someone here that knows what to do. I have Numero's Scriptorium installed on my PC for my TS2 game and while using the auto install, the folders/files are placed in the Double Deluxe/Base part of the game. When reading where to put the files for the stairs to work with scriptorium, it's instructed to put them in the Pets Collection/EP9 folder etc...I guess I would need to know where to officially install the Scriptorium for the these stairs to work properly? I was going to move all the folders and files to the Pets Collection folder but It was a prompt to over write a foundation file. I'm not too familiar with things being over ride as I don't want to mess nothing up. If someone has more info and can help, I would love you forever.

It doesn't work for me either maybe it's because I have UC. That's a pity.
