Will the quilt stitching show up for people without bump mapping enabled? Not everyone can use bump maps. If not, could you please add some shading that does the same thing?

Are the pillows / curtains needed for the bedding? I assume not, you just pointed them out because they're neat, right?

Nice bedding, cute colors.

Thank you, glad they are liked.

The bump map was applied as shading to the bedding. My computer doesn't do bump maps. And the pillows and curtains are my personal fave and not required. I'm sure everyone has there own personal favorites for curtains as well.

The rug is by nengi, that link is for the mesh, but she has links to recolors in that thread.

Then how did you get the pictures that show the bumps if you don't have bump maps enabled? Did you use a different machine? Did you put actual texture shading on the bedding texture? Do the pictures NOT show bumps?

I ask because people who can't see bump maps may still want to use your bedding and they would want it to look similar to what's in the pictures.

If you can't see bump maps, and your pictures were made on a machine that doesn't show them, then how can you know if the bedding still looks nice with the bump maps? Sometimes people just desaturate their texture and use that as the bump map without checking what it looks like and it looks just horrible in game when bump maps are enabled. Not saying yours would look horrible, just that it's best to know what it looks like before you upload.

mmm...I think we have misscommunication regarding bump maps. Likely I am not using the same terminology in the same way as you. Maybe it's more of a displacement map?

The quilting and texture variations were done with a combination of layers, shadows, beveling, and all that goodness within Photoshop. There was a bumpmap texture in the game files that I extracted to use for my stitching.

As I said, I applied the bump map as shading to the bedding. My computer will not display bump maps, I don't have them disabled, it just isn't capable. So obviously I couldn't take screenshots with them enabled. I've no idea what/where bumps are enabled in game and on what objects.

Aaaaah, okay, I see. You left the existing bump map as is, but you also took the bump map image and used it to make the texture image, as part of the shading. Now it makes sense, thanks.
