What a marvellous idea! The succulent is my favourite, too - probably because succulents and cacti are the only flowers who can survive in this house.

The succulent is not base game compatible, you will need at least one EP for it to not crash and/or show up. To make it base game you need to uncheck all EPs in the file table and restart SimPE, then clone the base game object.
