As far as I know, it is not possible to change the glow colour, sorry.

(What Delphy was referring to in what you quoted above was the plumbob shader, not the glow shader. The plumbob shader is not much good for anything but plumbobs - if you use it as a shader, it makes your item rotate like a plumbob!)
