Hey Jonah I have windows 7 and every time I try to extract the files from my win-rar to the mods/packages folder in the root bin it tells me access denied. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing some thing? Please help I can't live with out your sliders! I had them on my last computer

ok im new so dont like pwn me but can someone walk me through step by step on how to put the sliders in my game? and wat is the BASE install?

Extract them to a location where you can write (for example the desktop) and then copy them to your mods folder (windows will then probably show a box where you have to confirm this and maybe enter your admin password). you can also try updating WinRAR or changing the file permissions of the mod folder.

There is none as far as I know.

No, read the faq on the front page. The BASE package is inside Jonha_Sliders. Just install it as every other package. Some people forgot this and got strange numbers in the UI.

Jonha,
I installed your sliders and I absolutely love the changes I am able to make to my sims. I just have one small problem (small enough that I will keep these even if I can't fix it):

I just installed AD85's extended core mod and it said not to install the BASE from your sliders.....so I have all the weird numbers. Is there a way to fix this?

Then he's wrong. The BASE package is absolutely harmless and will conflict with nothing. He probably meant, you shouldn't install the SliderHack.

Yes, you are right jonha. I apparently misunderstood....I left out the SliderHack and the BASE package.

This is what was posted on AD85's thread:

The sliders should work, the slider hack of course not.

This is causing Design and High Tech Stuff not to start. Do we need to put d3dx9_31.dll in the program folder for the SP too?

I have your sliders and Delpy's breast sliders, and the ears sliders, but the slider expansion hack now will not work with WA and HELS. Is there an update for this and if so, where can I find it please?

The slider hack works with HELS and WA. maybe you forgot to put the d3dx9_31.dll in your HELS game\bin directory, too.

First, thank you for sharing your talent and creations with us. Second, a question...Now that I have the sliders in my game, when I upload a Sim I've created to a site without actually using your sliders for that particular Sim, will your sliders be included with the sim? I don't want to inadvertantly offend you by accidently posting your handiwork on another site. I am registered with several.

No, the sliders will not be included with the sim in any case.

If you install a "slidered" sim without having the sliders installes, the sim will "snap back" to the default body shape regarding these sliders.

But I don't mind, if you package my sliders with your sims as long as you credit me and link to this download.
