Weird indeed. I'll never understand why some people are having problems with their game and others are okay. As I said before I have all expansion and stuff packs installed to my game and everything works just fine (launcher included). Very strange. Maybe you should uninstall townlife untill there is a new patch for the game - it's no fun to have the launcher freeze all the time.

They do what a launcher does, they start the game for you.

The only difference is that you have more options and less problems. If you have problems with the EA launcher then try another one, e.g. CC Magic (see link above).

Looks good. ^^ There are some actual floor plans of the house, but the designer is charging a fortune for them. I attempted at recreating her plans from viewing online copies but it's not easy scaling it right and the text is hard to read, and creating the L shaped stairs into the basement is also proving to be a pain without having some fat foundation under the house. I'm pretty certain also that her plans don't match the actual house layout.

Other plans by other designers are completely mis-proportioned, like having the room above the garage flush with the rest of the house, the garage sticking out a mile from the house, and upper floor plans not lining up with the ground floor plans.

As for the actual house, it does seem to be all over the place. The layout is constantly changing and makes no sense half the time. This one is as close to as being like at least one version of the Simpsons home. Who knows how many other versions they've got with rooms exchanging other rooms.

Just had this on my 'build' world, just to take a look at it, and it looks great even without all that store stuff. I shan't be getting quite all of that, just a couple of items that I can use elsewhere - like that big party table (got a big wedding coming up). The house is worth having just for the Simpsons art work. Nice job! But what about Marge's famous painting of a ship? Yes, I'm a big Simpsons fan.
