I am tired of EA's incredible greed and outrageous prices for junk! I have moved to Second Life and am no longer supporting mods here. Feel free to do anything you want with my mods. There are very, very simple tuning mods and easily altered. If you enjoy playing Sims 3 I hope you continue to do so.

**Requires Ambitions**
Since EA in their infinite stupidity broke CAW when they released Ambitions I have been suffering from CAWWS (Create a World Withdrawal Syndrome). So I decided to clear out all the houses in Twinbrook. Having cleared out all those houses and uploading “Twinbrook Biz Lots Only”, what I really wanted was a world with completely empty lots. No Business or Residential buildings so I removed all the Business buildings and here is Twinbrook All Empty Lots.

World Editor isn't as good as CAW but it helps relieve symptoms of CAWWS. World Editor lets you put lots anywhere they will fit.

Here's a fun little function.
If you bulldoze an already empty lot it goes away completely.

Then you are not restricted by the lot placements that came with Twinbrook.
For example you can bulldoze 2 small lots and replace it with a larger lot, or several smaller ones.

Find World Editor in the game here.

The Fog Emitter discovered by Goggalor goes even farther towards relieving CAWWS symptoms.
It lets you set all kinds of neat effects like birds, waterfalls, snow, rain etc. There is a short demo at this link.

To get the Fog Emitter press Shift+Control+C then enter the cheat buydebug. Then go into Buy Mode and you will find Fog Emitter here.

There is a complete list of effects attached.

Yes I understand it is a save and I have Ambitions (as well as WA and Hells).
I don't think I am doing any thing wrong but I don't see that save when I launch my game.

edit : I tried with a brand new game and the save is working fine

I don't know if it will or not. Could you let me know if it does. I'm sure people who don't have Ambitions would love Twinbrook.

It will not, ever, work without Ambitions. It requires Twinbrook to be installed, which came with Ambitions.

Sorry, I wasn't watching the thread. I just updated the title and added a note that it requires Ambitions.

Are there any plans to do this with Sunset Valley? I'd really like that, and it would save me from having to make a whole world on my own (I've tried and I'm quite bad at it xD)

Thank you for this! I have never liked the pre-fab neighborhoods, and now I don't have to go through and bulldoze everything/evict everyone. You have saved me a lot of hassle, and now I can spend more time building and decorating, which is what I love the most anyway. I might as well just have stayed with TS2, for that matter. Oh well...

I love that you've already cleaned out the lots, but 2 questions came to mind:

1) Wondered if you just bulldozed the existing lot contents and left the original lot remaining, or did you bulldoze all and replace with new lots? I ask this because in the past I've lost count of the "unroutable terrain" error in attempting to replace lots in Twinbrook, especially downtown. Another related issue I've noticed is if the original lot placement is used, regardless of what I build for some reason an imprint of the original lot seems to superimpose itself into the new lot. No idea how to get rid of this aside from going into build mode and creating/deleting a fence or something to reset the lot. Weird.

2) How did you annihilate the sims? I just deleted them in a game some time ago and they showed up later in an empty world as homeless sims, so if that's how you did it every sim "may" show up as homeless? Or did you use a mod like MC to annihilate the population?

Otherwise, this is brilliant and saves us scads of time! Thanks!
