I know how to test stuff properly, I used it several times. It might be possible that something has been changed in later expansions, though, I have only the first two.

Edit: I tested your urinal and that works as well on a residential lot.

well yay - not meaning to comment at your testing skills - I havent actually been able to test this urinal myself - I haven't even SEEN it in game - just pics. My PC is in the shop and lappy really cannot run sims.

It will be interesting to hear what happens when it gets dirty on a residential lot...hint.

Unfortunately I discovered that urinals don't have a boolprop option to set them to dirty state. Someone else who's playing for longer time will have to report about that.

I have a mind to make a permanently dirty urinal and more detailed variations of grimy textures. However the blue screen terror periodically haunts my dinosaur from 2003 that runs Sims. These problems make taking pictures in-game risky. I'm implying that we could collaborate ourselves: I could create the texture and possibly remap while you could ideally take pictures with your glamorous toxic waste cleaners in their sexy little latex hazmat suits. Of course I would get permission from Leefish if I must remap.

Note I'm stuck at my computer for the next few hours so feel free to send me a private message.

Slar - in the main post I mentioned that HL was looking at the problem with urinal recolors. She has a semi-fix - recolors that stick but never get dirty. Sounds fair enough to me - then if you want grime then you can make a grime recolor

You could always make a urinal yourself

If you don't fancy that then follow the directions in psychosims post. I don't know if it will work on dorms as I don't intend to use this in dorms and so have no reason to test it.

I have myself worked on a mod related to... hum... having to go recently (not uploaded, and I'm not sure it will). I can tell I felt bad after a while, about watching these poor sims peeing, and then peeing again. A little cheat so that, as soon as they are done, they have to go again. Testing many different situations to see if all my changes worked. Poor sims. Can't you imagine yourself peeing all the times, indefinitely, for many days? Pee, wash hands, pee, wash hands, pee, walk to the kitchen, having to go again, can I find the best toilet myself? Pee, wash hands again........ Sorry, it's no joy, but it was all for science.

when DLing the recolor version I get a msg from my .rar unpacker saying the .rar cannot be opened, and that it might be corrupt or incomplete. Any way to check this? thanks!

bucky: That happens when the file didn't download completely. Delete that one and try downloading again.

ziwidu: Same place you find other urinals on a community lot. Remember it has to be a community lot.

Thanks for sharing. I hope the guy with no shoes on doesn't step into anything wet or smushy.
