Not all Sims have the Simoleans or the motivation to live in a skyscraper, but even then, some will still want to experience all that urban living has to offer. Apartments like Corsica Heights are built to cater to just this type of Sim- nothing too ostentatious about the building, yet inside, one will find all the comforts of home.

Additionally, the fact that buildings like this can be more expansive than the land values of a city center will allow (this becomes true even in the Sims, I've found- I have so many skyscrapers that even though an empty lot costs the same no matter where it goes, a Downtown lot in the center of an urban jungle has more value than one on the fringes where there's still plenty of space.) means that, rather than a lot entirely dominated by a skyscraper, a more subtle apartment like this can afford to use some of its valuable real estate for a pool and rec area for its tenants.

With studio apartments starting as low as $703 per week, even a Sim just starting out should be able to afford the urban lifestyle in an apartment like this. They may not have the luxuries of a penthouse, but who needs that when you can just walk out the front door and be in the hustle and bustle of a thriving city instantly? Of course, some Sims will still want more out of life, so this building's apartments cater to a good range of income levels.

The largest apartment Corsica Heights has to offer is on the third floor, and comes in at $3271 per week. (For fans of the TV show How I Met Your Mother, I drew inspiration for this apartment from Barney Stinson's "legendary" bachelor pad... not an exact copy, but for a romance or pleasure-seeking Sim, you couldn't ask for better! I may have to put an exact copy into a later building though... it's a great apartment!) A grand total of 16 apartments means that your Sims will never lack for company if they need it, but it also raises the issue of noisy neighbors... ugh. Still, if a Sim finds that their neighbor's party is still raging at 2 in the morning, they can always head up to the top floor, and take advantage of the fully stocked gym for building residents, or enjoy a quieter atmosphere in the skyline pool hall just one floor down.

Whether off the busy avenues of Downtown, or a quieter shopping district, this building provides the joys of urban living at a fraction of the cost of a Downtown penthouse. Corsica Heights management hopes your Sims will be very happy under our roof.

Additional Credits:
This building's exterior is another that I based off a real-world building, but I can't for the life of me find it again now! Credit should be given to whoever designed it, so if you recognize the building from somewhere, please let me know- in addition to wanting to make sure they get credited, I'd just like to know what architectural firm designed it!
