Oh this is brilliant. I tend to play a lot of poverty or city-building challenges, and my Sims spend a lot of time digging (and fishing, and gardening). Now, while wandering through the sad ruins of what the nuclear accident / zombie apocalypse / realityTV-induced riots left of their once great civilisation, they can finally dig up battered cars, chairs, tables and other goodies instead of those d**n useless chests full of gold.

Thanks so much from me and my huddling-under-a-tarp Sims!

Mhm. I feel silly asking this, but: how do I use it? I installed the mod as instructed - unzip, put into the games download folder - but now what? There's nothing in the tutorial about how to open the program which allows me to change the values. The images look a bit like SimPE, but that's not listed in the "what you need" list or mentioned anywhere else. I'm afraid I'm sounding stupid, but I used other mods and those just had to be installed and didn't require SimPE.
Me? Sarcastic? Never.

I know I thanked you already but I just had to come back and let you know this works like a charm. Although I have my old game on my desktop, I just recently downloaded the UC to my laptop with win 7 and I don't have SimPE installed. My sims went on vacation and it usually takes a few times combing the beach or digging to dig up anything, but every time they comb the beach or dig, they get something. So far in 20 times they have gotten seashell, glass necklace, Convex Stoneware, assortments of statues, one has busted a pipe, and has found 2 map pieces (up until now none of my sims have ever found map pieces). Thank you very much for this mod. My sims thank you, too.

I'm all envy and admiration. I hope you can help me out with some informations; I've been fumbling around with SimPE, it took me forever to even find the first of the BCONs (and I don't even know how I did that, when I open SimPE and then open a resource list, it's empty) and now I have no idea where to find the GUIDs of the objects I want my sims to dig up (beds, computers, furniture, ...). Where do you find GUIDs of objects in the game? I tried registering at the GUID database, but that one seems down.

Thanks!

"I hate to tell you this..." is a dreadful way to start a sentence. Don't do something you hate to do for my sake, I'm not that important.

Well Hello there ! First: Thank you this mod is amazing. Second, how many items can I add to the list ? Am I limited to the number of the list and have to change them if I get bored with the items or can I add a lot of them by changing the DEC in the first line (0x0 (0) line) ?

(I don't even know if you still take care of this but hey, I got to try :D)

Thanks for everything, not just this mod, all of the mods you made that are in my game (It's a lot !!) :D

Edit post question: I tried and put up to 58 and got one of the "supplementary items" I put. :D

Is there a detailed tuitorial on how to use and edit this in SimPE? I have no idea how to even open this to edit once SimPE is opened.

Hi, possibly a stupid question, but for multi-tile objects, is just the first GUID enough, or do I need to enter all of them?

ETA: If anyone else had the same question, I tested it and just the lead GUID worked fine. :D

I'd like to post my version of this mod, designed for salvage artists. Hope that's okay!
