This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
UPDATE:
I have updated the hair because with the new patch (March 2015) the files weren't working anymore. File size is still small. I have edited the gender flag via Sims4Studio.

As bonus I have converted MedCenterPart for females which comes with the first Gameplaypack (Outdoor r.). If you don't have the first Gameplaypack don't use oepu_mtf_yuHair_GP01MedCenterPart.

---------

I have made some of the adult hair (actually teens to elder) available for both genders.

This is just a small flag edit. Therefore it behaves like basegame hair (correct brow color etc.) and the file size is very small. I have converted those hair which work for both genders without mesh editing.

The MedWavySweptSoft Hair has a glitch. But because it is small and the hair looks good with hats I converted it anyway.

Additional Credits:
I thank plasticbox for the idea how to do gender conversions via flag edit.

I really like these hairstyles they are very beneficial thank you.
But sadly an update for my game has caused them not to show up now and I really liked these.
Is it possible that you could do an updated version for the new patches?

I'm sorry. They are broken with the new Patch. I will create a updaten version once CMARS Mesh Tool is updated. It also doesn't work with the Patch. Ea changed some Code.

Thank you so much oepu :-)

It seems that many mods and custom content have been affected by the update 26/03/2015 and that many simmers that use custom content and mods have faced the same cause. Many EA staff are being made aware of this by their customers and are alerting EA officials about this so hopefully the next update will correct these errors.

I tried to change the flag via hexeditor but failed. I have to wait until a new version of s4pe is out there. Or hopefully with an EA update the s4pe flag edits will work again.

I have updated the hair. Sims 4 Studio did the job.

The same thing happens to me as well. I'm trying to make Scarlet from RWBY and whenever I change their hair to the parted style and switch to another Sim in CAS, it defaults back to another hairdo. It's so frustrating :/

@ShadoFoxx.

I have also faced this problem too, I find these gender conversion hairstyles useful but frustrating when it just automatically changes to a default hairstyles.

I personally think that these hairstyles would have been easier as independent meshes because they are more guaranteed to work and the same goes for the child gender conversion hairstyles by "plasticbox" with GTW expansion it is causing the same problem too.

Hopefully this can be done by both creators or find a creator who could convert these independently without merging the mesh with the opposite genders default.

@GoldenEffigy

That would be absolutely wonderful! I hope someone fixes it soon. I wish I knew how to make items myself...

@ShadoFoxx

You could always send a request to Kiara24 if there are any hairstyles that you want converted. I sent her a request a few days ago for two female hairstyles to be converted for males, I just needed to send her either links of the images or the actual images of the hairstyles I wanted converted and she happily took my request. But I cannot guarantee how long it will take for completion it varies, but she will try to make certain it functions well and that as many colours can be used with the converted haristyle.

You could also try Lumialoversims who might try to convert any hairstyle you want converted but I am not certain if he takes requests but like a lot of his creations, so you could give him a try too.

But I know that Kiara24 will happily take on your request and give you a great result. I say her hairstyles along with Lumialoversims and Notegain have created the best hairstyles for the Sims 4 since Peggy & Rose disappeared and Newsea has gone on a low-key.

This is my best suggestion since I doubt this will be modified, plus these hair conversion on my game only work on black hair and no other colour which was why I sent a request to another sims hair creator so I can fully use it.

Apologies for the paragraph but I hope this helps.

Regards: GoldenEffigy.

Hi! I love these hairs too and also have the same problem of them resetting to different ones, which is a real bummer. Does anyone know if oepu is planning on trying to fix them or if another creator has made similar hair conversions? I live for these things!
