Well, I saw this thread:
http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=56993
... and figured, "Why not?" So I went ahead and made the hair from the girl as best as I could. This was my first attempt at hair, and frankly, I was rather surprised at just how crazy the hair seems to be laid out... at least, that version. However, I think I did a fairly good job considering the reference I had to work with was less than one inch square, and just a front view.
Included are versions for all age groups that were creatable with my version of Body Shop (the downloadble version, as the version on the computer actually running Sims 2 is incompatible with my video card... *sigh*). I'm not sure how it'll work for Young Adults but I'm assuming it'll just use the Adult version. Adults, children, and teens all have the same fully-colorful version. Toddlers are mostly blonde with just a bit of light coloring around the front, and elders have the same pattern as adults, children, and teens, only considerably more grey and subdued.
*grin* Also featured in this picture is a sneak peek of my pink leopard print pants - I'm still working out the kinks on how the edges line up, but they'll be posted here as soon as I'm done with 'em, along with a couple other items I have in the works.
Enjoy!

This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
