This is a slightly modified version of my entry for round 1 of the Build a Resort contest. The front doors have changed because I found that using shelves as door canopies may have looked right but made the doors unusable. Min’s bedroom and the conservatory have been rearranged a little for similar reasons. (Two of the dining chairs still can’t be used but it didn’t look right if they were removed – and there are more than enough functional chairs for all of the residents anyway.)

On the ground floor are the guests’ lounge, the dining room, which extends into the conservatory, the kitchen with its walk-in larder, a cloakroom, the office and reception area and a private living room for the owner, Min Alto. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (one with an en suite shower room), a single bedroom, a guests’ bathroom, a family room with en suite, Min’s bedroom and bathroom, a small laundry room and a storeroom. (None of the stored objects are usable, although there is space for the cot in the bay window of the family room if the toybox is moved over next to the desk, and the highchair will fit in the dining room). There is an NPC apartment next door.

All EPs up to Island Paradise were used, plus a few stuff pack items. There’s also lot of stuff from the store but most could be omitted or replaced with similar items.

Lot Size: 40x30
Lot Price (furnished): 127,626
Lot Price (unfurnished): 51,578

Edit: I had some thanks on this but they seem to have fallen off in my repeated attempts to upload it. So here they are now:
This is the first time I’ve tried building an apartment. Thanks to HugeLunatic for the tutorial – and also to Armiel for Builder’s Island. I’ve been taking the screenshots elsewhere (Isla Paradiso, in this case) but most of the building for the contest has been done on the island.

I also realised about a minute after hitting the 'submit' button that, in spite of all the checking, I'd not actually attached the latest version of the house. The differences are minimal but this is now the official Final Version .
