I love this! The first time it snowed in my game, after I turned this on, I was amazed! Thank you so much!

I had to get this once it snowed in my game and I saw what you meant. It's definitely something that cannot be "unseen". LOL, thanks for the awesome improvement!

Hey, quick question.

I'm having a problem with the Snow texture... it does a strange type of flickering when there is ONLY a light snow on the road. The flickering is only on the road and not on the lot, house, or in the surrounding neighbourhood. I haven't done any troubleshooting yet... if it's a mod conflict, could it be CuriousB's Terrain Replacements? Not sure what would be causing this issue. This is also on UC.

Thanks

@Anthonyl17 is your snow fine without the mod? Have you tested it in a clean folder? (By which I mean renaming your TS2 folder in documents and letting the game create a new one.)

I have something rather interesting to report... I removed my entire downloads folder, leaving only my UC loading screen, GunMod's Camera Mod, and CEP Extras (that are not located in Downloads) in the game, and the strange road flashing persisted. Now i'm unsure how to solve this problem, even if it may not have anything to do with your mod now.

Repaired game files, no change.

@Anthonyl17 Removing you Downloads folder is not a good idea, there are things that shouldn’t be removed or otherwise you can corrupt your hoods, such as a multi PT mod, that’s why I suggested renaming your TS2 folder, as that makes it safe (the folder documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 [Ultimate Collection]). Do rename it now, load your game (it will be clean, without mods, your hoods or anything) and check the snow there.

I have an issue with the snow texture. While it looks really great in game, it makes my game crash during heavy snow. which makes me really sad.
I try hard to find the culprit but wasn't successful.
I think my computer is powerful enough: i7-6700K, Geforce 1060 GB and 8 GB of Ram.

Hey, I just wanted to let anyone who is reading this know that when I had this mod in, my undersea terrain looked like this in *lot view only*.

Just a heads up for anyone else who is wondering what happened to their pretty ocean views!

I had exactly the same problem and my computer also should be powerful enough. Game was crushing but only during winter, both in n-hood and lot view. Removing 'snow.package' from my Downloads folder completely solved the problem. I think there should be warning in the mod's description that this file may cause problems, at least until it'll be fixed.

This seems to come from the beach package. Just remove terrain-deepwatersand_txtr in SimPE if you wanted to have the HD sand but not the underwater texture. I don't personally see much of a difference between the vanilla and HD sand so I'll just take it out entirely. Cliffs look great though.

Excellent job!! Like all the others you do. Voielle, have you tried to do something similar for the terrain paint tool in construction mode? Because it would be AWESOME!

Thanks for this tip! I did exactly that, and it looks great.
