So far I haven't had any luck running this with Awesome Mod (Patch 1.67). After an omnious pop-up telling me that one of the core elements is corrupted, I click on "ignore" but the game crashes to desktop as soon as it finished loading the main menu (I can't even see the main menu in fact). I also tried manually deleting the UI.dll file inside awesome.package (since yours is overriding that anyone) but no luck either. The mod runs fine without Awesome but I can't remove it without losing all my savefiles and I also love its features, mainly story progression and the make sacred option.

Hmm...I fired it up for myself, and it looks like Awesome checks its files on startup to make sure everything is in its right place, and shuts down if anything's wrong to prevent users from unknowingly screwing up their saves.

That certainly presents a challenge. I'll keep bashing it with a spanner and see what happens.

EDIT: Looks like I may have finally come up with something; see my comment below.

Default New Awesomemod-Compatible Testing Versions
It's not exactly elegant, but it looks like I may have finally come up with some working Awesome-compatible mod versions. Use the right one for your game version.

Same ol' disclaimer: these may or may not explode your game. Be sure that these mods are loaded after Awesome (i.e. Awesome in packages folder, these mods in overrides folder).

How are you running both Awesome and XCAS in the same game? It seems to me like they would conflict with each other...

They've not for me though it might be possible if I had more than the automated school assignment override enabled in my config file as that's almost all I've got enabled since I just needed it to fix the school overcrowding and routing issues as one that pops up in larger worlds can breka saves and make the game unplayable with the automated school assignment being it's main cause.I've been running that with XCAS basic and a full NRaas Mid collection with 113 files and for over a year though one conflict was found with Buzzler's Moar Interaction Mod though the carpool disabler was never an isssue.

Not working with AwesomeMod for me - I set your mod to load after Awesome, and the loading screen appears as it should, but it crashes as soon as the world finishes loading.

Nope! Both mods are fully compatible with each other

I'd like to use this, but I'm worried it won't work with ErrorTrap. Can you tell if they are safe to use together?

There is no conflict between this mod and Errortrap

For me, the version with AwesomeMod works (no XCAS, neither Origin or Steam) for most loading screens. It runs fine after the worlds have loaded. But for the custom loading screen I tried to add, I just get a black background behind the loading bar. Sometimes the entire loading screen is also messed up for the custom world. I did double check if I followed the instructions correctly but didn't find any mistakes.
