Yeah, that split-level back entrance is pretty cool.
Why the diagonal walls in the basement tough? If you went with straight walls, there would be room for a sink in the bathroom and the bedroom would be none the worse for it.

Thanks for the feedback. I can always make another iteration of this house where the diagonal walls are just right angles.

Yes, and in case you're not aware of it, if you wanted to replace the original with a new version, you won't lose your download count if you upload the same exact file name. In this manner, you can update older Lots as your building techniques improve. Read the upload instructions carefully though, because it's been a couple of years since I've done it. FYI for future reference.

While I have your attention, I've noticed that many, if not most, of your Starters only feature a shower, not a bathtub. In case you're not aware, when you play the game, your Simmies will develop a "Want" to have a bathtub. They love bathtubs (although I think someone made a Mod that prevents that particular Want).
But there's a second good reason to try to always include a bathtub, namely, to allow the bathing of dogs. Both squares in front of the bathtub have to be clear (including clear of opening doors) in order to be able to bathe dogs. Most of the time, it would require a bathroom to be slightly larger. And it's best to always test this before uploading, as you should test everything, using an exact copy of the Lot.
If a house doesn't allow this, then I think the only way to bathe a dog is to take it to a community lot that has a bathtub, which in my opinion is not only unrealistic, but a PITA. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong about this.

You're a good Lot builder, WS, and you obviously enjoy it. Not too many of us around anymore for Sims 2. Are you aware of the shortcuts to using the various building cheats?
