What a wonderful gesture! I use a few of his mods and they make my game a lot less stressful. May he rest in peace.

The Sims World has lost a good creator. I hope (their) life was filled with fulfilled aspirations, good grilled cheese, plenty of woohoo, gold level parties and many satisfied whims. I am floored. Scumbumbo was in my top 5 modders list. Thanks to everyone who keep the creator's creations alive, for updating their mods and keeping them alive in my virtual world. RIP Scumbumbo. You will forever be Legend.
Blessed Be!

A wonderful tribute! Thank you Flerb. Any chance you could make a tweaked version that would give an Inspired buff rather than Sad though? That's more how I'd like to remember Scumbumbo.

I finally reinstalled Origin and The Sims 4 today, and in my current test save (Teknikah's latest World of WIPs save), the Vatores were the first to pay their respects via this picture.

Do only actively played Sims get the crying animation and Sad buff, though? Siobhan Fyres paid a visit at one point, and during her visit, she apparently looked at the picture, but didn't really react.

When I logged in today to update my mods before loading into TS4 for the first time in months, I recognized Scumbumbo's name in the sidebar and couldn't believe it. Thank you so much for making such a sweet tribute to a prolific and talented modder

I was away from The Sims for a while, so I only heard recently. It's a great loss. (That's a groundhog, though, isn't it?)

@drinkmorecocoa

"The groundhog aka Woodchuck is properly called a marmot. ... The Groundhog (Marmota monax), also known as the Woodchuck, or the Whistlepig (particularly in the Southern United States), is a rodent of the family Sciuridae, belonging to the group of large ground squirrels known as marmots."

we will soooo miss you Scumbumbo!
