I can't reproduce this issue. Have you tested with just my mod and StoryProgression installed? Can you upload the script error here?

This does sound like an error that was occurring in older versions of my Job Overhaul mod. If you have that installed, try downloading the latest version of that mod as well.

Default error with career for teens
Sorry the error is from the job overhaul mod and careers. I thought I had the updated version of job overhaul, but after checking I see that I had the old version installed. Sorry for the mistake.

I really like this mod. There is one thing I have a question about. My sims re gaining skills at a very fast rate. One sim went from 0 to 6 in gardening just by one session of gardening. Is there a way to tune the percentage given to them at the start of a skill?

The percentage boosts are constant values that cannot be changed. I may consider decreasing them slightly in a future release.

For some reason, when I try to update the decay rate through the computer or City Hall it'll allow me to type in numerals, but not decimal points.

This issue should be fixed as of January 5, 2020. Please ensure your version of the mod is up to date.

Thanks! Sorry, I mistakenly thought I had installed that version already.

THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH AHHHHH. This mod is so needed, especially for a skill such as ATHLETICS!!! My sims won't work out for 7 sim days (which is technically 1 year in the sim world LOL)..realistically they should lose their muscles. Now this makes exercising more realistic!

This mod is awesome, thank you! Like others have said, it really helps to keep the game from getting stale. The skill I appreciate it the most for is cooking - I've always rolled my eyes at how sims can get to such high cooking skill levels so easily just by serving mac and cheese every few days for a long enough lifespan.

I also wanted to ask - would you consider making a version of this where the decay rate is scaled by skill level, so sims at lower levels of a skill have to struggle to retain it but the decay drops to zero by the time the skill is mastered? It's not something I ever would have thought about before using this mod, but having a kind of balance where sims have an easier time improving and retaining skills I make them actively cultivate while quickly losing the ones they barely use would be great.

I agree! This would be a great idea to implement! Even if the only change would just be that Mastering the skill would make the decay drop to zero, or even near-zero.

I'm really loving this mod so far! Can't play without it!
