but then she went off to university...
She butchered off her hair and decided to dress a little less modest! It's too bad I don't have a picture of her 'before marriage' for comparison, but she wore a tea-length Egyptian style dress and had her hair in 2 buns.


She's a pleasure sim, so she totally shows her personality now. I wonder if she'll stay married to Artie Goodie or move on?

She had Maxis everything, so I made her over:

That's not an NPC. She's a Maxis playable sorority member named Heather Huffington.

Ahhh! I wasn't aware! I don't play a lot of the pre-made playables so if anything Maxis-looking walks by I assume it's an NPC. Good to know! Well that's serendipitous, now one of my frat guys could legit hook up with a sorority sister!

This is probably MORE of a makeover than this thread intended.. I gave the Picasos makeovers with the face surgery machine..it didn't go well for Jessica.

I left the room and bodyshop open for one minute, but apparently my mother decided to take that opportunity make some ...unique... sims and save to troll me the next time I opened up bodyshop. Of course I had to give them makeovers, so these are her favourites of the pictures I sent to her later on. (They're in spoilers because they're big.)

Here are some before & after Bodyshop pics of various dormies I made over (incl. plastic surgery, shhhh :giggler.
There are a looot of pics, so I'm hoping someone else enjoys before & afters as much as me! I'll hide some of them under a spoiler.

Geneva Piper is the only sim in my hood that actively dabbles in making other sims over. The catch is, she has her college degree in biology so she sneaks in a degree of experimentation on those she convinces to get into the parlor chair. Usually her experiments turn out to be a bust but she makes up for it with a nice face scrub and haircut.

Experiment 0013: Do pink & red really look that bad together?
Subject: Liam MacKenzie
Notes: Nephew, therefore more likely to forgive family. Introverted, is attached to his long hair.
Results: pink & red look awful together
Resolution: Haircut, but not short enough he can't hide behind some bangs.




Experiment 0014: Fluidity of gender via long hair
Subject: Forgot his name
Notes: Met him on the sidewalk; seems nice.
Results: Application of cosmetics slightly makes gender harder to decipher. Thick facial hair is a deterrent.
Resolution: A short haircut and beard trim by request. An Apology.

I had another go at trying to make Rainelle Neengia look like a flapper.


I also found a new look for Olive Specter.

Jodie Ottomas (was Larson) has been married to a rock star for at least 10 years now, but I've never bothered to buy her some new clothes. So when they (her, David, their daughter Dottie and the twins; Nora & Jacob) moved to a new home, I decided it was time:

Bea Pleasant has been trapped in a secret room of her Mother's house for years, recently only escaping to find her real father after having a child with her step-father Rick Contrary. At first, I dressed her like she had found some old clothes in the closet and let her hair run wild and curly (Ignore Dustin and his wife flirting)


Now she looks like a normal teenage girl, who just got accepted into university! She looks (and feels) like a whole new person since finding her father

So I cracked open the 'Hutch' household or as I like to call it - "The Randy Clan". It's a family my sister started a few years ago when she was living in the same town but she departed mid-last year so her sims families have been sitting un-played in my hood since then. It's called the "Randy Clan" on account of the patriarch, Randy Sr. and then his six children all with names that have 'RAND' in them. They live in my desert town of Pandora, in a trailer. I decided to give them makeovers, and the sister couldn't do anything to stop me She even liked most of them.

Randina
This is the third-eldest child of Randy Sr. She is living at home and taking online college courses. She's a YA. But I thought she looked like a woman going through a mid life crisis and wearing all that black in the desert is probably super uncomfortable. So I freshened up her look, gave her some shorter sleeves, a lighter color palette and made her look a bit more like she's 20, not 20 going on 45.



Sisters Approval Rating: 4/5
While she agrees Randina looks younger, the reason she made Randina look older was because she wants to be a business woman and dressed to evoke a mature woman with corporate power. We came to a compromise; after Randina graduates she's going full pantsuit.

Randolph
Randolph was creeping around with a Loki haircut and a leather jacket. He wanted to paint a masterpiece and earn 100 Simoleons when I found him. He's a few days from graduation high school but I thought a makeover would do him good.

Leather jackets probably aren't good to wear in the desert. I'm just assuming since it's black and sucks all the sunlight to it, plus it has little room for breathing that Randolph is going to cook himself. I kept the long hair, but gave it a more messy 'weirdo artist' feel. I only used what clothes my sister had in their wardrobe and this shirt , while not short sleeved has lighter colors. Randolph also has started free-styling for tips at the run-down book store and it's quite popular though he hasn't made enough to get that want filled yet.

She agreed he looked better and appreciated I kept his artistic weirdo vibe.

B-RAND-on (Brandon)
IMHO I thought Brandon was adult man and then realized he was a teen. If it were possible, I would have thought he was a man posing undercover as a teen. Nope, that scuzzy facial hair and stash had to go. I needed to get his youth back. I was also appalled at his weird dye job and sideways bangs. He looked like he was about to con someone but he really just wanted to eat spaghetti. He has a twin sister named B-RAND-i (Brandi) so I tried to get them to look a bit twinn-y by thickening up his eyebrows like hers. I kept this weird 'dye job' feel he had by giving him light blonde hair and keeping his eyebrows and LIGHTER facial hair dark. I liked his clothes as they were so no change, he's wearing cowboy boots which I think is apropes for desert foot wear.

She really liked that vanilla hair that came with Uni or Nightlife that Brandon was sporting, so she doesn't like his new haircut but was fine with the eyebrow update to look like Brandi. She confirmed Brandon doesn't really want to work and would rather cheat people out of money to get it so...I think he looks a bit more trustworthy to get into that slyness rather than not trustworthy at all. Might as well give him a top hat and a cackling laugh with the previous look.

I don't need to wordy about the eldest two kids, Randy Jr. and his twin Randi - for they went forth into the greater hood society with make overs a long time ago.
