Default Mod that prevents wall hangings from going dark
Hi folks! Is there any mod that prevents pictures and other wall hangings from going dark when its hanging too low?

I'm not sure how this works, but maybe no mod can help? Maybe somehow its about light? In that case, I'm afraid I'm posting in the wrong forum, sorry

Thank you!

Sadly there aren't mods. They are default replacements of the textures. But I think this is what you are looking for.

There's also this https://sims2artists.com/index.php?topic=4626.0, I think it includes the ones in the first link, but it has much more than just fixing the shadows.

Pretty much the only thing that prevents it is not shifting items down below the original point, because the game thinks you're shifting it below the point it recieves light (this is why the items go dark, because they think they're below the floor) - and instead only shifting them up. This is less of a problem with ground-level items, such as the "sweet down low" project, where all the items have been moved to the ground and only can be shifted up.

It's more of a workaround than an actual fix, but it does the trick.

Right, I thought it's not so simple
Thank you!
