So cotton candy and popcorn barely increase hunger but a cup of tea does the opposite? I'm befuddled with this logic.

Look at the description in the store page.

It's like they're barely even trying anymore.

The Blackberry fruit doesn't work with canning, doesn't scones or toast show in the options for a jar of blackberry preserves. Just open jar. Haven't tried jam yet.

My poor attempt creating an Old Mill Park and Garden.

The waterfall is not falling right, I tried making up with the fountain objects but it looks odd.

Making chocolate spread and putting it on toast.

The garden and fruit tree grove:

That thread has lots of pictures of the town. Mine is not how it originally was packed. I have changed and bulldozed for more variety and to add a community college in town. Great world to play.

One complaint I have is you can't make a unique fruit jam/preserve or ketchup. The ingredients must be 3 of the same kind. It will accept it in the inventory but the options are grey out and you can't take one of the ingredients out when you put it in. You must use Ctrl+Shift to delete it. That sucks.

OK, I haven't tried jam so I guess I chose the wrong option. I think preserves was the one I chose.

I am going in the game later so I can see if my sim can consign the items. Hope so, that can be my sim's new job. Gardening, nectar making and canning.

Are you able to sell them on the rack in the bakery or as a store item, JenieUSA?

I'm building an oversized residential farm and being just a builder I need some help. I have the Bohemian Garden, the bakery set and the granpa's grove set on this lot with LN, SN, Seasons, Island Paradise, Into the Furture.

I can do changes to the exp packs used, but I don't want too many.

What plants should I plant for the farm you think?

lewisb....sorry i dont know about selling them...i simply choose that rack cause it have
more levels...i was just sellling them out of their personal inventory...with their 100 bucks for a jar....nice little profit

nikel....jam is for fruits...and preserves is for veggies....
however...the ketchup is used as a fruit/jam...and you can spread it on scones or toast...yuck!

i can tell you that you cant make jam or preserves with the life fruit though...

I no longer have the Sims 3 installed on my computer, but I can definitely browse the forums for pictures. I think I prefer your version of it, though. Thanks for the links!

So, this file includes all the missing translation strings for all languages (except English).

0xDE8014A055E76E4A: Corn Seed
0x0CEDB865C5BB8109: Cucumber Plant
0x61D0A84D12066112: Cucumber Seed
0xBA586EE2F32790B5: Cucumber Plant

Of course, all strings are in english because I can't translate to 21 different languages.

Hi, DouglasVeiga!
Thank you so much for yours store plant fixes (I'm using cornfix too).
If you're interested, I've downloaded from this topic (link of pepperw1) another fix for cucumber plant (author is kusurusu) http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/761567.page . It shows in my game italian name for cucumber too. If you're not interested, then sorry for a disturb - and thank you again for yours fixes (I trust in yours mods and I would prefer to use yours mods, because I've never had issues with it). :lovestruc

There are youtube videos on this stuff. I wanted to see the canning in action.

I can in real life, and the lady horrified me when she reached in and pulled the hot jar out with her bare hands. I use special tongs that are wide enough to grab the jar by the neck. Other than that, it looks ok.

Is there any way to get Cornfix v2 working with Cooking Ingredients Overhaul? Perhaps by merging them together? It would be a shame to choose..

@Bily jednorozec, thanks for the info. I didn't include the incomplete translation because this is a temporary fix, probably the store team will release a store's patch to solve the problem, soon.

@August_Sun, compatible.

@tizerist, I believe you need to ask @anak_ponti for a compatible mod.

I felt the same when I saw the sim put their hands in the pot to take out the jars. I winched just watching it.

My mom canned and I was in charge of sterilizing the jars, lids, and tops. We had those tongs used for BBQ'ing back in the day and would cause a slip up, possibly drop the jar and break it. That would get you in some trouble for sure because I was accused of not watching what I was doing. One jar slipped out the tongs and not thinking I caught it in my arms and against my abdomen. Being summer I had on a midriff top and OMG, I burned the heck out of my forearm and side area of the abdomen. But I didn't break that jar. I needed medical care after that and was instructed to use oven mitts, be completely dressed before trying to handle those jars. There is no way, no how a person can grab those items out that water without burning the skin off your hands.

Aw lewisb40 .. I'm a canner and remember those BBQ tongs back in the day when my mom canned. Now my grandkids help me and it was through some of my own mishaps I learned to put some rules in place so my "little helpers" don't have to go through what you and I did. You brought back some memories here. By the way, I broke the jar

Yeah, I learned with BBQ tongs also, because that is what my MIL had on hand. But when I got my own canning supplies, I splurged and got the nice jar gripper. (Although, for some strange reason, my kid likes to walk around with it. I find it in every odd place. Today I spotted it on the living room coffee table.)
