This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Is deleting sims via testing cheats error messages safe?
I've been having some kind of bug with some characters... Townies I think. I am sure it's mod related, and through the logs I should be able to figure it out.

But I'm working with Testing cheats enabled, and these sims were bugging out... Cancelling and resetting wouldn't fix the error, so I had to use the delete button.... So my question is, does that just delete them from the current play area, or does it have an effect on their gamefiles? Cuz if it's the latter I'd like to know, so I can make a new 'hood now before I've sunk too many hours into my new one. Really trying to avoid save corruption.

It's fine, it's just like deleting them with move_objects.

Thank you! Now I just need to figure out the culprit mod... It seems pets are the ones constantly resetting...
