i love this! i just dont really like the cd drive. but the laptop is fantastic!

There is really no way around it. Unless you wan't the disk coming out of the front of the computer sideways. I'm looking for a way around it. If anybody know, please tell me.

actually i have laptops ive made that the cd goes into the laptop. the animation of the sim is like they are inserting it into the screen though, but it still goes into the spot where you moved the cd in the GMDC. All you do is export the cd and dont change the mesh just move it to the inside of the laptop and there ya go

Wow!, thanks... I saw one of these a couple of years back in my local PC World - it looked rather cool, as does this my Sims will love it - thanks for sharing!.

It would be better and you wouldn't have to do a lot with the animotronics if you placed the Disc Drive on the right side of the computer. But it's great anyway

Sad it haven't been updated for Free Time. I would have like to see my Sims play The Sims 3 on an Acer Laptop, as I play The Sims 2 on an Acer Laptop

This is great, I love the Acer laptops, very reliable. I'm using a 5515, which is considered cheap, and it's just amazing. I wonder if you could make one?
Either way, this will be great to have my self-sim playing an Acer as I watch him on an Acer.

I have no expansion packs, so I downloaded the NOEP version, put the .package file in my downloads folder, but it's not in my catalog! What's going on? :sad:
