As 95% of my sims are gay men, this will be an awesome major.

I do not do requests; please don't ask!

Thankyou, for a bisexual guy like me, this is really appreciated.

75% of my male Sims are gay or bi
40% of my females.

And 100% of me

Thank you for this.

This major seems pretty sexist considering that its completely male oriented and from what I can tell doesn't even mention females. Nice try but a gay male dominated patriarchy is still a male dominated patriarchy.

I think Lesbian Studies deserves it own major, Mary......I'm just not expert enough to develop one at this time. I know about Sappho but not much else regarding a Lesbian "Herstory".

There is, however, a major called Feminist Activism by whiterider from September 2005 in the meantime...................

I love this. :]
My gay sims will be happy! As well as my sims that want to study this. :]

You know, Sappho was never realy a lesbian. She wrote those poems to entertain her boyfriends. A truly despicable act.

"Because some of her love poems were addressed to women, she has long been considered to have had homosexual inclinations. The word lesbian itself is derived from the name of the island of Lesbos from which she came. (Her name is also the origin of its much rarer synonym sapphic.)"

She wrote poems to both men and women. It's unclear whether Sappho was homosexual, bisexual, or heterosexual.

Hold the phone. Are you telling me that some people received copies of The Sims 2 that includes non-gay sims?

That's outrageous! None of my sims (playable, non-playable, or townie) have ever displayed any heterosexual tendencies.

(I'm off to add this major to my university curriculum.)

TS4: Where adult sims make Angry Poops.

*Bi-Woohual*... Genius! Well-researched, excellent major.
On statistics, I'd agree with HomestarRunner - a good 70% of SimMales and almost half of my SimLadies share the love that dare not speak it's name in my game. How boring to limit oneself to just one gender...

Breathe deep, who knows how long this will last.

Most of my male sims turn out to be gay (pretty pretty boys... *grin*), the rest of 'em is mostly bi. Girls are kinda varied.
I really like that there's cheats that you can use when you want same sex couples to have a baby with their genetics... ooops off topic...
Anyway... *whistles*
Great idea, very well done. Cool

This is great I am getting ready to send my sim and his boyfriend off to college soon. Now he can study something interesting. I would like one for lesbians too it would be great since I am a lesbian and almost all my female sims are lesbians or bi. Most of my male sims are bi or gay too

Come see my creations at evielovesims

Nice major! Have you thought about uploading this to GaySimsClub2 also?

I hope somebody does make a lesbian major too.

Now stop arguing over little stuff, people! We have enough haters out there to bring the gay/bi/gay support community down. The last thing we need is to nitpick each other and make others feel threatened or unwelcome.

If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Two points:

ONE: This is not a discussion thread - what has been said may seem to be harmless so far, but at some point someone is going to say something that will anger other people, and we will have a flame war. If you want to post on this thread, post to say thanks, or to report technical bugs in this major. If you want to discuss sexuality, hop over to the Debate Room at S2C

Two: Pontiac1979, I can see you've put a lot of effort into this, thankyou, it is very good work I was wondering, however, why the semester descriptions were included in the post, as they can't be included in the game?

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

Thanks for appreciating my work, whiterider! I suppose I added the brief descriptions of the semester classes so people wouldn't think I'm making anything up - and say to themselves, "What historical precedent for same-sex marriage?", etc. Also, I wrote them to support the relevence of downloading the major in Sim schools of higher education worldwide...........

One drawback: it puts the thank you button way up the thread and requires a little effort for folks to scroll up to "tap" it........

I thought bisexual and heterosexual were the same thing? Oh well, just ,e and my stupidity (you should of saw me with the banana and tootpaste! who knew I could make a megaphone with those two!)

PS thanks for this, I am straight myself, and don't care about sexuality, but I always wanted this

PSS My finger is freezing, and it hurt to scroll up to the thanks button!

SeaZephyr, I apreciate the nice things you said about my major -- but I do agree with whiterider that comments with the potential to start a flamewar are not appropriate for a space dedicated to thanks and technical feedback only..................... .
