The computer is beautiful, but I have a question. Does it work like a laptop too, where it is in a Sim's inventory except when the Sim is actually using it (at which time it goes either on the nearest desk or table, or the Sim's lap)? Or is it just like any other computer in the game, where you set it on a table/desk, and it stays there?

If you open the cheat bar and type in this "move_objects on" you can place the laptop on any surface or on the floor. However, you must place it on a desk or table with a chair facing it, or else your sim cannot use it. No, it cannot be placed on the lap...do you have any idea the animation headaches that would cause?!

There is a common sense to objects in Sims 2, think before you ask, you may already know the answer.
