OK, Hopelessly, you're one of my favorite creators whose cats don't have this problem, but unfortunately I think Mel caught it..
There is something that pops up and it usually says:
"Would you like to install the following content?"
Then it says something like this:
"The content was successfully installed!"
But it said something like this instead:
"This content needs Expansion Pack data that you do not have."
That happens sometimes when trying to "install" kitties..
Reinstalling TS2..

yeah, i had this problem too, and its making me mad because mel is just so darn cute!

Kittypaw9820 and Sorasheart: Use Clean Installer to install pets (or sims) instead of the EA installer. Clean Installer will let you install sims and pets that were made with EPs you don't have.

It says that Clean Installer may have viruses and stuff that can potentially harm my computer..
Do I just install it anyways?
(I have all expansion packs but I dont have Mansion & Garden stuff and I dont have Glamour Life.)

Hi, I am currently playing Sims 3 so I can't put Mel in my game though I'd like to. However, I love cats and have to tell you this one is fantastic. Not only is it sweet and adorable looking but there is something so very real in its expressssion and eyes. Wow, what a terrific job you did. Really excellent work.
